Stroke & Turn Judge Volunteer Clinic

The Winskill Dolphins' annual swim meet takes place at the end of October, and volunteering at this meet is a great way to earn points toward your volunteer commitment. One area of the meet that is in need of numerous volunteers is the Stroke and Turn Judge position. This clinic is an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the role. Attending the clinic will also earn you four points toward your volunteer commitment!

Members taking this course should have either a) practical timing experience at a competition or b) have taken the Intro to Officiating course (available as an eModule on Swimming Canada's  Learning Management System (LMS).

At this clinic you will learn how to complete the following duties at a swim meet:

  • Inspector of Turns
  • Stroke Judge

Please register by logging into the Swimming Canada Learning Management System, click on CLINICS at the top and the scroll down until you find the clinic(s) you want to register for.

The clinic will take place over Zoom; registrants will receive the Zoom information in advance of the clinic.
